White's Calculated Risk, we meet Imani and Desmond, two people on a journey to "redeem" themselves from their individual past mistakes.  I love reading their inspirational love story.  Desmond and Imani work together at a local Atlanta community center (helping youth who otherwise would be left by the wayside).  Their love story  showcases determination and resilience throughout a multitude of issues.  It also highlights the power of a second chance.  In addition to the novella powerful messages of the power of community, resilience, resourcefulness, forgiveness, and determination, author D. L. White carefully sprinkles in passionate love scenes 😉🥰🎇🎇 🌶️🌶️🌶️between Desmond and Imani.  This novella is an awesome read.
